Note: The official tournament program was written with the correct Raw Deal version of the 'Swiss' pairing system. This included the stipulation that, when possible, even if it causes pair-ups and -downs, players will not play against any superstar that they have already played. However, it has subsequently been discovered that this rule was omitted from the revised Floor Rules document. It has always been intended that tournaments be played this way and thus the ruling at the World Championships. The Floor Rules will be revised accordingly to rectify this omission.
