WWE Raw Deal Revolution

This December, Comic Images Presents the 21st Set for WWE Raw Deal… REVOLUTION

“Raw Deal Revolution” is like every other set produced: the cards can be used in conjunction with all your current decks, whether All Axxess or any Raw Deal variations like Afterburn, Velocity/Restricted Axxess, or Tag Team.

However, unlike what has been possible with a set this size in the past, you can make a deck just from the pool of 130 cards in the set, along with the 12 cards available at the tournaments at your local hobby shop (the 1 promo card for the next set along with the 11 tournament prize cards).

To support this, we are introducing a new sanctioned tournament format—“Revolution”—where only cards with the “Revolution” logo will be allowed (every card before its title has the logo: so a “Kick” is actually “<Revolution logo> Kick”—the “Revolution” logo makes it a snap to know which cards are in the format). To encourage new players, we are lowering the number needed for a “Revolution” event to be official: six players versus the standard eight needed for all other events.

The rules described in the Revolution Rulebook only pertain to “Revolution” events. However, give it a thorough review for new terminology—like “Momentum” and “Follow-up”—which is applicable to all formats. If you have a question, please post it on the official Yahoo Group, not on any fan site. While we encourage the fan sites for discussion of the spoilers, no official rules will be given anywhere except on the Yahoo Group and on the official site, not by Barron or any of the other Rules Managers (“Creed,” Jason, or Ryan). We cannot expect everyone to go to every site so it isn’t fair to give information somewhere where everyone won’t see it (however, once it appears on the Yahoo group, others are feel to cut-and-paste that information elsewhere). All official answers will be sorted into a Revolution FAQ (a rough draft of this document will appear with the final wave of spoilers; it will be updated before the set hits store shelves).
