The Boogeyman
All Axxess

BACKSTAGE (1)
WWE Raw Deal Fifth Anniversary
Strategy Notes:
The only backstage card that really matters for this deck is the WWE Raw Deal Fifth Anniversary because, having a Zero Superstar Value, Boogeyman doesn't need to worry about superstar values, but we will get to that later. The reason for the WWE Raw Deal Fifth Anniversary is because this deck won't have much recursion outside the three throwback Iron Will's. If all three Iron Will's end up in the ringside pile, this card will be very helpful to get the back into the deck.
BACKLASH (20)
Pre-match (10)
Bitter Rivals x1
ECW Championship Belt x1
I'm the Champ - Nothin's Gonna Change That! x1
It's Showtime! x1
Rochester, New York x1
The Champ Is Here! x1
The Tick Tock of the Clock x3
Underrated Superstar (TB) x1
Strategy Notes:
Not a complicated Pre-match in any sense, the basic purpose is to get the ECW Championship Belt into play and keep it there, while utilizing the boogeyman's excellent card, The Tick Tock of the Clock.
Pre-match Setup:
(Having a Zero Superstar Value usually means your opponent will play a venue first, but if he doesn't feel free to play Rochester, New York instead of the final Pre-match Event for more recursion)
Bitter Rivals
--this allows you to play the ECW Championship Belt and The Champ is Here! before your opponent.
ECW Championship Belt
--this card is the main focus of the deck, be sure to get it into play and keep it there.
The Champ is Here!
--this card gives you two more Pre-match and Mid-match, both of which are needed, and it stops your opponent from playing it by being Universally Unique.
The Tick Tock of the Clock x3
--these cards are the brain of the deck, they keep everything running smoothly and can keep up the pain on your opponent, or can get you a needed reversal.
It's Showtime or I'm the Champ – Nothin's Gonna Change That!
--The only time you play I'm the Champ – Nothin's Gonna Change That! is when your opponent plays Managed by Vince McMahon because it can put your ECW Championship Belt into your ringside pile, so you use I'm the Champ – Nothin's Gonna Change That! to make it permanent and give you plus one to your starting hand size. If your opponent doesn't play Managed by Vince McMahon, you play It's Showtime so you can start the match.
(If anything goes wrong in the Pre-match, like your opponent playing Bitter Rivals before you, you can replace Underrated Superstar (TB) with any card you didn't get to play.)
Remember: The main things are getting the ECW Championship Belt into play and keeping it there, and getting all three The Tick Tock of the Clocks into play.
Mid-match (10)
[Revolution] Before This Gets Out of Hand x1
Backlash! x1
Fortitude Surge x1
Introduce Your Brain to Your Mouth… x1
Restricted Use in This Area x1
The King Interferes! x1
The Road to Victory x1
Took That on the Chin x1
Unscrupulous S.O.B. x1
You're as Graceful as a Cow on Ice x1
Strategy Notes:
This is my favorite part of the deck. Reversals, reversals, reversals! It's a ten card “fun box” of reversals your opponent must get through to harm you. You don't see this hardly at all anymore. Usually, you see one or two reversals in the Backlash Deck. I don't blame people, seeing as First of All is running ramped. That is the beauty of The Boogeyman's ability, you don't have to worry about most of the annoying Pre-match in the game right now.
ARSENAL (60)
Actions (6)
…And I'm Coming To Getcha! x3
Iron Will (TB) x3
Strategy Notes:
Iron Will (TB) is the main recursion in this deck, keep putting back all your wonderful reversals into your arsenal. ...And I'm Coming To Getcha is the best “when overturned” reversal in the deck. It should get put back into the arsenal as much as possible until you reach sixteen fortitude and have I Am The Boogeyman... in your ring area, then when they get overturned from damage, you can use The Tick Tock of the Clock to put them into your hand. They shuffle sixteen cards into your arsenal, so make sure you have sixteen useful cards to shuffle in before you play them, otherwise you will be wasting the card.
Maneuvers (10)
[Revolution] Big Boot x3
[Revolution] Chicken Wing x3
[Revolution] Inverted Atomic Drop x3
The Bottomless Pit x1
Strategy Notes:
A very simple maneuver set. Three of each new type of maneuver. The ECW Championship Belt makes each of them nine damage and out of range for Elbow to the Face. I put The Bottomless Pit under maneuvers because, although it is an extremely good reversal in my opinion, your opponent won't walk into it because you can search for any two cards with The Tick Tock of the Clocks once you reach thirty fortitude.
Reversals (44)
[Revolution] I Won't Be Beat Tonight x2
[Revolution] Masochist at Heart x2
[Revolution] Only One Solution: Revolution x3
[Revolution] Try To Get Away x2
[Revolution] Why Don't You Kiss My A%$ x2
[Revolution] You Telegraphed It x2
A Revolution of the Mind x3
Divine Intervention x1
Don't Try This at Home x2
Elbow to the Face x3
Escape the Rules x2
Get the "F" Out! x2
I Am The Boogeyman… x3
It's Great To Be Back Here In… x2
Let's Wrestle Already x1
Manager Interferes x3
Mouthful of Worms x3
Sidewalk Slam (TB) x2
The Raw Deal Revolution x1
Volley This! x3
Strategy Notes:
I call this “The Amazing Wall of Red.” Between the reversal set and the Mid-match, I believe everything your opponent could throw at you is covered.
Any Final Strategy Notes / Insights:
The way I see The Boogeyman is that he is a “mini-Ken Kennedy.” He does basically the same thing by stopping your opponent from playing annoying Pre-match cards. His ability stops your opponent from playing a little less than eighty Pre-match cards, including Backed By Virgil, Boston, Massachusetts, Managed by “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart, Piper's Pit, [Revolution] Hardcore Hell, The Title is on the Line!, every Guest Ringside Announcer except Chris Nowinski, Denville, New Jersey, Distractingly Divalicious, Don't BASH the Star, First of All, Mr. Kennedy's Mic, R-V-D, [Revolution] Underestimate the Competition, and For The Love of the Game (just to name a few big ones). Another reason I chose Boogeyman was because Barron said that not being ready to deal with Revolution maneuvers hurt many people at the championships, so I thought “who better to use than someone who can only pack reversals!!” Hope you enjoy this deck as much as I have, especially seeing your opponent's face when he realizes he can't play a card his deck is based on!!
