Jeff Hardy
by Justin “The Devil” Brook
Revolution Format
This deck focuses solely on taking full advantage of Jeff Hardy’s ability to play Extreme Follow-ups fast and furiously without giving your opponent any time to take a breath.
101/130 (STARTER DECK – FOIL – Jeff Hardy)
Jeff Hardy (Superstar Card)
Starting Hand Size: 8
Superstar Value: 3
Superstar Ability:
You do not need to play a card before playing an Assault: Follow-up or Extreme: Follow-up.
BACKLASH (12)
Pre-match (6)
A New Plan x1
Kane is in My Corner! x1
See Kristal Clear x1
The New Breed x1
Tomorrow’s WWE Legends x1
You’re Drafted x1
Your normal Pre-match will consist of these 4 cards in this order:
1. Kane is in My Corner!
2. You’re Drafted
3. Tomorrow’s WWE Legends (plus 1 Pre-match)
4. The New Breed
If your opponent happens to get his Kane corner card out before you, then you have A New Plan or See Kristal Clear to play depending on your opponent and your hand. Jeff will usually start with a nice hand size of 9 or so, and with his ability, and being a member of two factions, Jeff has very good options to open up a game with. Plus, with Jeff being a member of The New Breed, his opponent has to discard a card when he reverses a Mean from his hand or backlash. Means are basically most of the maneuvers you will be tossing your opponent’s way, so it works out pretty nicely in your favor.
Mid-match (6)
Before This Gets Out of Hand x1
Caution: You’re Entering the O-Zone x1
Layla: WWE Diva to the Core x1
One for the Money… x1
Talk is Cheap x1
X-treme Twist of Fate x1
The Mid-match is pretty standard for the most part. Before This Gets Out of Hand and Talk is Cheap are staple Mid-match reversals. Caution: You’re Entering the O-Zone is a very good Colossal reversal for 8 fortitude. One for the Money… is to get either Here’s a Lesson Plan, The Elijah Experience, or the most likely choice, Live Fast- Fight Hard, into your hand. Layla: WWE Diva to the Core is to basically fetch A New Breed Unleashed and some Core reversals in times of desperation. Finally, your Superstar-Specific, the X-treme Twist of Fate is a nice Mean that will let you grab one of your damaging Unique reversals.
ARSENAL (60)
Superstar-Specifics (7)
Flipping Mule Kick x1
Get Ready to Burn in Hell x1
Kane’s Big Boot x1
Nothing Can Stop Me x1
Run the Barricade x1
WWE’s High-Flying Daredevil x1
X-treme Whisper in the Wind x1
I chose not to incorporate a couple of Jeff’s specifics because of room constrictions and the overall theme of hitting hard and hitting fast. The ones I chose are mainly the reversals. Flipping Mule Kick is great reversing any maneuver and having great secondary benefits as well. X-treme Whisper in the Wind and Run the Barricade are for pesky Antics and will make your opponent think twice before playing one. WWE’s High-Flying Daredevil lets you play an Extreme Mean right away and can provide a big spark to your offense. You will also notice 3 Kane specifics. Here are the key ones.
112/130 (STARTER DECK – FOIL – Kane)
Get Ready to Burn in Hell
Antic
Put up to 3 cards from your hand on top of your Arsenal: search your Arsenal for up to the same number of non-Unique Maneuvers, reveal them, put them into your hand, and shuffle your Arsenal.

113/130 (STARTER DECK – FOIL – Kane)
Nothing Can Stop Me
Antic
Overturn 7 cards.
If your next card this turn is a Maneuver, it has Momentum.
Unique
F:3 D:4
Once again, because of deck constrictions, I only incorporated 3 of his cards. Get Ready to Burn in Hell will practically win you the game if you successfully play it first turn. It’s an Antic that lets you dish out 3 damage, and can grab you 3 of your Extreme Follow-ups. Your opponent will only be able to reverse so many that early in the game. Nothing Can Stop Me is another nice Antic dealing 4 damage, and giving your next maneuver that turn Momentum. Once again, very hard to deal with in the early going and with the aggressive theme of your deck. Kane’s Big Boot is there mainly in case somehow you’re trailing and need to try to get some quick fortitude, since the card itself has Momentum.
Antics (1)
Live Fast- Fight Hard x1
Another card that lets you play your Extremes first turn, right off the bat.
Maneuvers (18) Remember you can pack as many of each Follow-up as you like!!!
A New Breed Unleashed x1
Flying Tope x6
Leaping Neck Snap x8
Missile Drop Kick x2
The Elijah Experience x1
Here’s my favorite part of the deck. Everything is Team EXTREME (bad pun, I know). A New Breed Unleashed is still really hard to reverse if you draw it in the early game and will let you play all of your Extreme Means if successful. The Elijah Experience is a nice 6 fortitude Mean that will let you pick up 2 more Extremes from your ringside. That’s really great because chaining together Extreme after Extreme is what this deck is all about. Missile Drop Kick is a nice Colossal for 9 fortitude and 15 damage. That’s a pretty nice ratio. The Means are the sickest part of the deck in my opinion. I’m packing 6 Flying Tope which you can play for a measly 3 fortitude because you are an Extremist. Dealing 8 damage out, you have another very nice ratio of fortitude to damage. Now onto the star of the deck! Leaping Neck Snap is so good with Jeff Hardy, it’s not even funny (well it is a little). For 7 fortitude, it dishes out 11 damage and lets you draw 2 cards! So when one of these babies hits the ring, with the way this Jeff deck can create a chain of maneuvers, you could end up with a really large hand size. It’s so good that I’m packing 8 of this star card. That’s a possible 16 cards you can draw. Of course that means you’d have to successfully play all of them, but you get my drift with where I’m going.
Maneuver-Reversal Hybrids (21)
Arm Bar x3
Belly to Belly Suplex x3
Collar and Elbow Lockup x3
Headlock Takedown x3
Punch x3
Slap x3
Only One Solution: Revolution x3
Playing 3 copies of Only One Solution: Revolution is necessary in all Revolution decks right now. It’s that good! All of the other cards in this section are standard maneuver/ reversals hybrids as well since I chose not to incorporate The Second Solution into this deck.
Reversals (13)
Here’s a Lesson Plan x1
I Won’t be Beat Tonight x2
Inertia x2
Not What We Came to See x3
Overexposure x2
Try to Get Away x2
Why Don’t You Kiss My A$$? x1
Another set of normal reversals. I am only packing 1 Why Don’t You Kiss My A$$? because of Jeff’s 2 specific, high damaging Antic reversals. I also have 2 Overexposure in the deck, since Jeff is a member of The New Breed and can therefore ignore the requirement. Everything else is pretty standard.
Well, as you can see, Jeff can be just as exciting in Revolution as he is in the real squared circle. He can hit you so hard, and so fast, that most opponents will not have any time to get an offensive attack started. So sit back, enjoy throwing maneuver after maneuver each turn, and take this deck to the X-TREME!!!
