BACKLASH (12)

Pre-match (6)

4ever: No Mercy
A New Plan x2
Climbing the Ladder
I’ve Trained for This Day All My Life
The New Breed

Strategy Notes: 4ever:No Mercy is an incredibly punishing card that can be abused by Umaga as whenever he plays a Maneuver he can pick up means that your opponent won't want to reverse, especially if they have to use Before This Gets Out of Hand, overturning seven cards to reverse a Mean that will be put back into my hand for next turn..I've Trained for This Day All My Life is only to be used if you have a higher Superstar Value , the reason for this is that Climbing the Ladder is so good when used with Umaga as your opponent will almost every turn have to decide between overturning four cards to reverse a card I can easily bring back and overturn four cards or let the Mean through and let me draw two cards and they take the damage from the Mean.A New Plan will very rarely be used because the other cards are so important but if the hand is really that bad then you should replace Climbing the Ladder/I've Trained for This Day All My Life with A New Plan. The New Breed is a good Pre-Match which gives you access to one of the best reversals in the game and an excellent F:0 Maneuver.

Mid-match (6)

Armando Alejandro Estrada: “For Samoa!”
Before This Gets Out of Hand x2
Keep Your Eyes Open or It's Game Over x2
Maryse's French Finish

Strategy Notes: Armando Alejandro Estrada: “For Samoa!” is a really fantastic card that not only lets you pick up cards from your ringside but gives your next card Momentum which is great with the The Samoan Banzai Drop as it is a Follow:Up Card which will have Momentum and hopefully let you draw two cards. Not only that the two cards you pick up could be vital and some of your cards which are sometimes dificult to play or you have a card which you need to get played this is the card that will help and because it has Samoa in the title you can put three cards from your ringside on the bottom of your arsenal. Before This Gets Out of Hand is standard Mid-Match and will give more cards in your ringside for you to use.Keep Your Eyes Open or It's Game Over is great for stopping antics and hopefully the two card random discard should not hurt you too much as if it is a Mean or Colossal you can recover them with your ability and if not Climbing the Ladder should have given you a big enough hand so that it will not affect you.As previously stated you should have a large hand thanks to Climbing the Ladder and Maryse's French Finish will take away all the cards in your massive hand and destroy your opponent's asrenal and thanks to The Samoan Diving Head Butt you can play it at low fortitude.

ARSENAL (60)

Superstar-specifics (7)

The Samoan Banzai Drop
The Samoan Bulldozer
The Samoan Diving Head Butt
The Samoan Scream
The Samoan Spike
The Samoan Wrecking Ball
The Samoan Wrecking Machine

Strategy Notes: The Samoan Banzai Drop is a great card that when played ruins your opponent's hand and can be easily picked up and will do a great deal of damage to your opponent which is true with all of Umaga's Trademarks..The Samoan Bulldozer is a great reversal that can easily stop Momentum and is the cheapest Momentum reversal that can be played from your hand, also it can stop any Extreme including Colossals and A New Breed Unleashed. The Samoan Diving Headbutt is an amazing card that can be used with The Samoan Spike as when The Samoan Diving Headbutt is played you can pick up The Samoan Spike from ringside and play it for 15 fortitude with the possibility of Momentum. The Samoan Scream is a great Antic reversal and hopefully you will have less fortitude and take out some annoying Pre-Match such as Hardcore Hell or Underestimate the Competition as although they are not Unique they are still great cards which could be annoying to Umaga. The Samoan Spike while being very expensive is also a great Colossal that can be easily picked up from the ringside and has a good chance of having Momentum. The Samoan Wrecking Ball does a great amount of damage while being a great recursion card and Follow-Up:Maneuver would be difficult for others Umaga can pick this up whenever he plays a Maneuver so Umaga always has a good chance of playing this. The Samoan Wrecking Machine lets you search for any maneuver which if drawn on the first turn can let you get a great card into your hand and does 2 damage as well which is great as it is very difficult to reverse Antics on the first turn.

Antics (1)

You’re Fired, Playa!

Strategy Notes: This is a great card as it is constantly reused and lets you get cards back that cannot be brought back with Umaga's ability and you can draw one new card and as it brings back cards Umaga cannot that is why I felt it should be included as the only Antic.

Antic-Reversal Hybrids (6)

Centered Defense x2
Head-to-Toe Defense x2
Lateral Flank Defense x2

Strategy Notes: These are all good cards that should be included in any deck especially if you build it using The Second Solution and can reverse maneuvers that are normally difficult to reverse as it reverses the target and not the type of maneuver.

Maneuvers (24)

A New Breed Unleashed
Back Breaker x2
Eye Rake x3
Guillotine Stretch x2
Hand Smash x3
Homicidal Lunge x3
Into The Barricade x3
Knee Lift x2
Toe Smash x3
Vertical DDT Drop x2

Strategy Notes: Just Extreme Cores as your Non-Mean Maneuvers, obviously there is Takdown in the Maneuver-Antic Hybrids but that should be used as an Antic.Thse Extreme Cores can prove difficult to reverse early in the game and once you have enough fortitude for your Means you should only really play them.Back Breaker will not only replace itself because of Umaga's ability but it will also give you another great ability to pick one card from the top seven of your arsenal and put it into your hand, and due to Climbing the Ladder and 4ever: No Mercy you can draw two cards if it is played and your opponent overturs four cards if it is.So basically when you play Back Breaker you get an addditional three cards in your hand.Hand Smash will do four damage and even if it does not count as that much fortitude it is still a grat Maneuver to have.Eye Rake is probably the strongest Core in the deck as it has no negative effects, can be played at 0F and does three damage so always try and play these early.Umaga should be prepared to take alot of damage so he will have lots of cards in his ringside so Guillotine Stretch is a great card as it can be picked up by your ability and can be played for just two fortitude.Into the Barricade will not only pick up an Extreme from your ringside but also a Mean or Colossal so it is the only Core in the deck which will give you one assitional card in your hand when played.Knee Lift is a great card that is really cheap and ruins your opponent's hand while thanks to the Pre-Match and Umaga's ability boosts your own hand. Homicidal Lunge while having to be played as the first card on your turn is still an excellent card as givesyou the most fortitude out of any of the Cores except for A New Breed Unleashed but you can pack three of these as opposed to one of them.Toe Smash should be used early as later in the game as many of your Superstar-Specific Maneuvers are Follow-Ups and you want to play them early in your turn.Vertical DDT Drop is one of the main back up cards in this deck(the other is Guillotine Stretch)as if the game is going horribly wrong this can get you back in it and even if it is in your ringside and you have 0F all you have to do is hit a Core Maneuver doing more than one damage and you can play this if you are quite a bit behind in fortitude.A New Breed Unleashed is great to get early in the game is it can almost instantly get you to Mean Fortitude and is diificult to reverse early on.

Maneuver-Antic Hybrids (3)

Takedown x3

Strategy Notes: These cards can let you play some of your Non F:0 Extreme Cores for 0F and some of your Means especially Knee Lift which will now be very cheap and if the fortitude of Guillotine Stretch and Vertical DDT Drop are reduced they can be played for 0F.

Maneuver-Reversal Hybrids (3)

Only One Solution:Revolution x3

Strategy Notes: Only One Solution:Revolution is a great card which in total gives you eight reversals to assaults, holds and throws which boost your own fortitude.

Reversals (16)

I Won't Be Beat Tonight x2
Masochist at Heart x2
Not What We Came to See x2
Outmaneuver x2
Overexposure x2
The Second Solution x3
Try to Get Away x2
You Telegraphed It

Strategy Notes: These Reversals combined with the Mid-Match and Umaga's Superstar-Specifics you should be able to stop anything.I Won't Be Beat Tonight is great for removing your Means and Colossals and recycling them back into your hand and it can stop Colossals.Masochist at Heart is for Testand Storyline Batista who can play Colossals at an early stage in the game and you might not have enough fortitude for I Won't Be Beat Tonight and thanks to an Antic called You’re Fired, Playa! when this card is overturned it can be put straight back to the bottom of your arsenal. Not What W Came to See will increase your already large hand size and get you some fortitude as well.Outmaneuver is there to deal with the Means and Unique Cores that Not What We Came to See can't deal with.Overexposure is another way to stop Means and Colossals as long as they are not Extreme or Trademark and can also deal with Cores. The Second Solution is one of two key reversals in your deck depending on who your are playing. If it is an Extreme heavy deck then Not What We came to See will probably be more useful but against a deck packing lots of Assaults,Holds and Throws this will be the more useful reversal.Try to Get Away is a better reversal than Before This Gets Out of Hand so if you get the chance play this instead but between those two cards you should be able to stop your opponent's Means easily and You Telegraphed It provides you with extra Momentum reversal and use You’re Fired, Playa! with this in the same way as Masochist at Heart.

Final Strategy / Other Notes: Umaga has a great ability which is further augmented by the Pre-Match set up and using your Means and Hopefully your Superstar-Specifics this deck makes Umaga what he should be:The Samoan Wrecking machine.
