Edge
by Charles Williams
Revolution Format

Well well well. I just gotten this crazy idea for an Edge Deck after looking at 2 antics which are Ashley's an Awsome Asset and You're Fired, Playa!. Using These cards together and using Edge's Superstar ability can be devastating to your opponent. The Goal is to have 3 Ashley's an Awesome Asset in your ring so everytime you play an antic your opponent will overturn a total of 3 cards. The Antic you will keep playing over and over again will be You're Fired Playa! Lets take a look at these 2 antics.

82/206
You’re Fired, Playa!
Antic
Put this card and 1 card from your Ringside on the bottom of your Arsenal: draw up to 1 card.
F:0 D:0

So you put this card and 1 card from your ringside into your arsenal and guess what? Play a maneuver successfully so you can use your superstar ability to search your arsenal for You're Fired, Playa! and put it back into your hand and play it again and it helps you replenish your arsenal little by little.

Ashley’s an Awesome Asset
Antic
Your opponent overturns 3 cards.
Successfully play an Antic: your opponent overturns 1 card.
F:11 D:0

Everytime you play 1 of them your opponent is going to overturn 3 cards [BARRON NOTE: since this is a contest, I’m leaving the entry alone, but the bit here about overturning 3 cards is potentially misleading so I want to make sure it’s clear—you do overturn 3 cards per the text and then, due to the timing sequence, you would also trigger the second part about overturning 1 card as A.A.a.A. is in your Ring … the net result being that when you play this card is that your opponent overturns FOUR cards—end note.] and in the same time every antic you play for the rest of the game will force your opponent to overturn a potential of 3 cards because there are 3 Ashley's an Awesome Asset.

BACKLASH (12)

Pre-match (6)

Even Good Guys Do Bad Things x1
I’ve Trained for This Day All My Life x1
New Plan x2
Randy Orton Is In My Corner x1
Tomorrow’s <WWE logo> Legends x1

Strategy Notes: Always play your Pre-matches in this order
1.Randy Orton is in My Corner (If your opponent gets to play their Randy Orton Is In My Corner before you do then you have 4 unuseable cards in your arsenal)
2.I've Trained for This Day All My Life (You can exchange this for a New Plan if you need it)
3.Tomorrow's <WWE logo> Legends
4.Even Good Guys Do Bad Things

Mid-match (6)

Before This Gets Out of Hand x1
Boot Lace x1
Caution: You’re Entering the O-Zone x1
Keep Your Eyes Open or Its Game Over x1
Maryse’s French Finish x1
Sex & Violence x1

Strategy Notes: With the Pre-match I've Been Trained for This Day All My Life you can 1 more Mid-match. Caution: You're Entering the O-Zone is a great colossal reversal because it allows you to remove 1 card from your opponent's ring and Sex & Violence allows you to look at your opponent's hand and then search your arsenal for 1 card. I have Keep Your Eyes Open or Its Game Over rather than Talk is Cheap because this is a heavily antic based deck. Realistically if you played not stop antics during most of the game based on probability your opponent might not be able to reverse Maryse's French Finish that can end the game.

Well it doesn't matter how many cards you discard because if it ends the game you won't need any cards in your hand. The problem with this Mid-match antic is that you discard any number of cards first then your opponent may reverse Maryse's French Finish if your opponent is able to. So you can end up with a empty hand and a reversed Mid-match antic but in case that happens use your 3 You're Fired, Playa! that is all ready in your ring so you can draw a total of three cards.

Strategy Notes: Theres alot of uniques in this deck and having these should be enough inconjunction with Ashley's an Awesome Asset and You're Fired, Playa! Try save The Legendary RKO and The Rated R Spear as reversals because they're your only colossals and based on probablity your opponent might be able to reverse it when used as maneuvers.

Masochist at Heart x2
Not What We Came to See x2
Try to Get Away x3
Welcome to My World x2
You Telegraphed It x2

Strategy Notes: A pretty solid set of reversals, the strategy here is to use You're Fired, Playa! to put most of these cards back into your arsenal.

Final Strategy / Other Notes: The deck's main strategy is keep your You're Fired, Playa! running amuck while trying to get 3 Ashley's an Awesome Asset in your Ring to force your opponent to overturn cards and then overturn cards for every You're Fired, Playa! you play. Everything else in this deck is to provide support where needed. If somehow you get all three You're Fired, Playa! in your ringside the main strategy is almost completely ruined. Try to keep 1 You're Fired, Playa! in your ring just to ensure that the strategy isn't defeated. Cards like The Cerebral Sleeper or Figure Four Leg Lock can get rid of your You're Fired, Playa! and put them in your ringside. Look Under the Ring is your backup just in case that happens and if you have both in your ringside then I hope you used You're Fired Playa and Ashley's an Awesome Asset several times to wear down your opponent's arsenal earlier in the game.
