Ric Flair
by Andy Covell
Revolution Format
The Founder of the Four Horsemen
Pre-match: Storyline
Draw 2 cards.
Superstar Value: +4
New Superstar Ability:
Replace “Assault,” “Hold,” or “Throw” with “Assault, Hold, and Throw” in the rules bar of your F: 0 Reversals with “Reversal: printed #D—#D Assault/Hold/Throw.”
Unique
Wow, so Ric becomes a 6 Starting Hand Size and a Value of 8. And this makes his cards Only Solution: Revolutions with extra damage. And he can pretty much gain the full damage out of all of those. This is awesome!

<WWE logo> Intercontinental Title Belt x1
Strategy Notes: I think this is a very generic Pre-match. It's simple, but it works. I wanted to play the Triple H Corner, to get access to his Superstar Specific cards, but it is a toss up as I will go second fairly often, and don't want to risk the opponent playing the most popular Corner card in the game today. Therefore, to get use out of The Degenerates Faction, I decided to play Shawn Michaels, as the Showstopper Sweet Chin Music and the Main Event Flying Forearm are great cards to reverse your opponent's Extremes, Assaults and Follow-ups! The other reason why I like this set-up is the only card a Judgment Day deck is going to get rid of is A New Plan, which definitely is not my overall strategy.

That is usually going to be your Pre-match. If someone decides to play your Corner before you do, play the IC Belt to get Flairs hand up, because they will probably try to destroy the rest of your starting game.

I Can Do What I Want x1

Keep Your Eyes Open or It's Game Over x1
One for the Money… x1
Talk is Cheap x1
Strategy Notes: Some reversals here, with the addition of I'm Not Afraid Anymore, as with Flair, it's easy to have few cards in hand or little Fortitude, although your reversals should stop that. One for the Money is great to grab your Faction cards like Eat Spit to gain a hand size, or something else like Assisted by the Dirtiest Player in the Game if you are playing an Extremist.

Flair’s Figure Four Finale x1
Headliner Clothesline x1
I’m Going—Whoooo!—Up Top! x1
Main Event Flying Forearm x1
Nature Boy Chop x1
Profilin’ Shin Breaker x1
Triumph x1
Showstopper Sweet Chin Music x1
Space Mountain Punch x1
Still the Man x1
Stylin’ Low Blow x1
Wheelin’ Knee Drop x1
Strategy Notes: All these cards are made, for the nature boy! If you need space, you can get rid of I’m Going—Whoooo!—Up Top! But otherwise, he has great reversals, and Space Mountain Punch is so cheap and hard to reverse, you'll be screaming Whoooo! Throughout the entire match! Whoooo!
Antics (2)
Eat Spit x1
Four Now Go, Cat Go! x1
Strategy Notes: No need for Antics besides his Faction card and his 1, 2, 3, 4 card, as it gives the opponent another chance to reverse your stuff. I love drawing cards and Flair needs it too! If you’re lucky, you can make the opponent unable to play any Antics!!!
Antic-Reversal Hybrids (3)
Hail to the Chairman x3
Strategy Notes: Because of your Storyline, you could actually not ever have to overturn any cards, and just sit there like a Control deck in the non-Revolution days, the opponent slowly losing all of his cards due to the Aggression Rule, while your hand is filled with Maneuver/Reversal cards in your hand!
Maneuvers (11)
Belly to Back Suplex x3
Choke Hold x3
Gut Punch x3
H-Line x1
Three to Get Ready… x1
Strategy Notes: Ways to get Fortitude and to get your 1, 2, 3, 4 cards into play. H-Line is a cheap Colossal that is very deadly.
Maneuver-Antic Hybrids (0)
Strategy Notes: None really needed for this deck.
Maneuver-Reversal Hybrids (18)
Big Boot x3
Body Slam x3
Chicken Wing x3
Full Nelson x3
Inverted Atomic Drop x3
Running Elbow x3
Strategy Notes: This is over kill, but it's ok. Your Big Boots, Chicken Wings, and your Inverted Atomic Drops will reverse any Assault, Throw, or Hold Means reversing any amount of damage! Your Running Elbows, Full Nelsons, and your Body Slams will reverse any Assault, Throw, or Hold Cores reversing any amount of damage! So if your opponent plays Core or Mean Assaults, Throws, or Holds, they have to take 6-7 damage if they don't have Underestimate the Competition in their Ring, that can add up! And even if they do, you get sick amounts of Fortitude! OMG!

Two for the Show… x1
Why Don’t You Kiss My A%$? x1
Strategy Notes: This may look weak, but it is actually not. You have your Hail to the Chairman's to reverse Antics also. Keep in mind it is going to be hell for the opponent to get anything through, so you don't need all this back up and besides, you over kill it in the Hybrid Maneuver/Reversal department. The only things that will be needed are Trademark and Extreme Reversals, which these cards here should make up for it. Also his Specific Reversals reverse all the main things in Follow-ups, Means, Antics, Extreme, and Momentum. Add your Backlash deck and you have serious stopping power. Not bad Natch.
Final Strategy / Other Notes: This is a great deck that gets fortitude rather quickly between your massive damage reversals, and your Specifics, you really lay the beat down on your opponent. Hail to the Chairman can allow you to avoid the Aggression Rule practically while your opponent is forced to play cards that you will reverse anyways. And one you get your 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the Tournament cards into play, your opponent can't play Antics. This is going to be a very short game if everything would happen exactly like that. The biggest deck you will fear is probably The Undertaker with his Storyline. In that event, what do you do? Don't let him get into Mean range and grab your Specific Reversals as soon as possible. And once you start your match, you will be stylin' and profilin', limousine riding your way to another victory...Woooooo!
