BACKLASH (12)

Pre-match (6)

A New Plan x2
The Degenerates
The New Breed
Tommorow's WWE Legends
You're Drafted

Strategy Notes: This Pre-match set-up is designed so that you can take full advantage of each individual faction card and these will make up for lack of Superstar-Specifics as these cards are all so good. The one thing you may find odd about this Pre-match set up is that there is no Underestimate the Competition or Dressed for Success as these are normally considered staples in a Kevin Thorn deck but here we will only have one card in our ringside at the start of the match but you get to choose what this is so it should be an Extreme and the cards in the actual deck should be able to do their job nicely at putting cards in your ringside. Also Kevin Thorn's starting hand size of six can be a bit rubbish so with this you get a starting hand size of eight which looks a lot better and there are several other benefits from packing three factions in your Pre-Match.

Mid-match (6)

Before This Gets Out of Hand x2
Body Lock x2
Caution:You're Entering the O-Zone
Keep Your Eyes Open or It's Game Over

Strategy Notes: This Mid-match ensures you should have lots of cards in your ringside as only one card does not put cards into your ringside and that card is Caution:You're Entering the O-Zone which is ,in my view, one of the best cards yet seen in the revolution format.Definetely use the ring removal effect to take out a Storyline card if they have one as Hail to the Chairman is really important in this deck and also your opponent is discarding two cards which will help towards a key feature of this deck: hand manipulation.A lot of the faction cards cocentrate on removing cards from your opponent's hand and The new breed means if one of your Means gets reversed then your opponent discards a card, and that should be almost every maneuver as A Bloody Nightmare makes all of your Extreme Cores become Means.Cards like Body Lock are normally considered to have a disasvantage but what is bad with putting cards in your ringside to fuel your ability while playing a 6D maneuver. The other cards are just standard Mid-match.

ARSENAL (60)

Superstar-specifics (1)

Ariel’s Augural Affection

Strategy Notes: This is Kevin Thorn's only Superstar-Specific but thankfully it is a good one as you can stop Antics and momentum while bringing a massive hand advantage to you while putting more cards in your ringside for yoyur ability not to mention that it does six damage.

Antics (4)

A Bloody Nightmare
Eat Spit
Live Fast-Fight Hard
Prepare for the POUNCE

Strategy Notes: These are some of the best Antics in the game as they all have amazing effects.a Bloody nightmare has been previously referred to in this article so here is the card text itself.

A Bloody Nightmare
Antic
Requirement: “Revolution The New Breed™” Faction in your Ring.
Your Extreme Cores are instead Means.
If you have 3 or more Superstar-specifics from “The New Breed” Faction Members and/or cards with “The New Breed” in the text in your Ring, search your opponent’s Arsenal for up to 2 cards, put them into his Ringside, and he shuffles his Arsenal.
Unique
F:1 D:0

As you can see this card is a great one as this deck has so many Extreme Cores and now they will become even harder to reverse and if your opponent does reverse them then they have to discard a card and you can get rid of some of their best cards from their arsenal and you can have a look at what they have in their arsenal.Eat Spit is a great card as it boosts your small hand size and gets rid of a random card from their hand which further adds on the theme of hand advantage and in addition they lose four random cards from their backlash which messes them up completely.Live Fast-Fight Hard can let you play some of your more expensive cards on 0F and you can pick up some maneuvers to help you which means a further gain in hand advantage.and Prepare for the POUNCE is an awesome card then makes your opponent's hand size shrink by three while letting you pick up an extreme and making all of their non-Unique maneuvers much easier to reverse and the best thing is that the most expensive of these Antics is three fortitude.

Antic-Reversal Hybrids (3)

Hail to the Chairman x3

Strategy Notes: This card gives Kevin Thorn a great boost as it provides the basis for the deckas it means if you get three in your ring you no longer need to play maneuvers while your ability slowly kills your opponent but none of this would be possible if it were not for another card which I will comment on later in the article: Edge FX

Maneuvers (21)

A New Breed Unleashed
Caught in the Ropes x3
Edge FX
Eye Rake x3
Hand Smash x3
Homicidal Lunge x3
Microphone Cord x3
The Elijah Experience
Toe Smash x3

Strategy Notes: These cards should provide you with a solid maneuver base to destroy your opponent abusing your ability.Only a couple of cards need to be highlighted as most are just standard in an Extremist deck like this.Edge FX is probably the best card in this deck as it provides you with a constant way of putting Extremes into your ringside and this is the only Maneuver in the entire deck that you will not use your ability with as it just provides the ultimate discard and when played whether your opponent reverses or not you will be able to put more Extremes in your ringside next turn with this so every turn your opponent is going to lose two cards from the top of your arsenal when this gets into play. The only other noteworthy card is The Elijah Experience which is very cheap and lets you pick up extra extremes if you already have an abundance in your ringside and helps amintain hand advantage while allowing you to remove a non-unique from your opponent's ring.

Maneuver-Antic Hybrids (0)

Maneuver-Reversal Hybrids (3)

Only One Solution:Revolution x3

Strategy Notes: These cards are staples in most decks.

Reversals (28)

Assisted by the Dirtiest Player in the Game
Heartbreaker
Here's a Lesson Plan
I Won't Be Beat Tonight x3
Masochist at Heart x2
My Way
Not What We Came to See x3
Overexposure x3
Outmaneuver x3
The Second Solution x3
Try to Get Away x3
Why Don't You Kiss My A%$ x2
You Telegraphed It x2

Strategy Notes: This is the way to win for Kevin Thorn as this can show.Once you have your Hail to the Chairman's in your ring and Edge FX ready to abuse just stop anything they can throw at you with this huge reversal base and this is one main reason for not packing Underestimate the Competition or Dressed for Success as you want most of your reversals in your hand or arsenal.Several of these cards are worth mentioning.Heartbreaker is a great card that can be especially abused if you can find Ariel's Augural Affection in the ten cards you look at as you can almost guarantee you will overturn an Extreme for it making your opponent discard six and in addition it revrses means and Colossals for just eight fortitude.Another card to speak about is Here's a Lesson Plan which you should use to shuffle back reversals to keep stopping your opponent's maneuvers and this reverses any Extreme for only three fortitude. The final card to focus on here is My Way which is certainly an interesting card.I feel that the ability to be put into your hand if overturned in your opponent's turn was better than including another Why Don't You Kiss My A%$ which is one fortitude cheaper.

Final Strategy / Other Notes: This deck is designed to get out all your key cards out early while maintaining a hand advantage. The point of this hand manipulation is that if your opponent has no hand they cannot stop you from getting fortiude and once you get enough fortitude Edge FX becomes devestating. This deck is different to other Kevin Thorn decks in the past two sets as the main way was to overturn cards into your ringside for your ability but this deck is far less random as most of the time you will be controlling which cards go into your ringside. And I hope you enjoy using this deck.
